Each DEP album bring back alot of different memories..this one brings alot of dark but amazing ones too. I had the privilige of seeing them twice on their farewell tour, one being kind of a surprise gig at a tiny club in Boston. DEP opened up a whole world of music to me that i didnt know i needed. Time has passed and i stand by what i said when it came out. This is their best album. I feel bad for anyone that became a fan after this, too late to experience seeing them live.
Favorite track: Surrogate.
THE GREAT CORNHOLIO
I was jamming this album in the car when I went to get fast food the other day and as I was sat in the nearly empty parking lot eating alone an old couple just had to fucking park right next to me so I cranked it and rolled my windows down and screamed along inbetween bites and they stayed until they were done and I think they liked it 9/10
Favorite track: Manufacturing Discontent.
Probably DEP's best album, in my view. You get their best melodic experimentation as well as some of their most fully-realized bangers in tracks like Limerent Death and Honeysuckle. Greg is an absolute beast on this album, offering up an unbelievable, top-class vocal performance that I just don't think has been topped in heavy music before or since.

The Dillinger Escape Plan is:
Billy Rymer, Greg Puciato, Liam Wilson, Benjamin Weinman, Kevin Antreassian, Dimitri Minakakis, Adam Doll, Brian Benoit, Chris Pennie, Tom Apostolopoulos, Jeff Wood, John Fulton, Jeff Tuttle, Mike Patton, Thomas Bouaziz, Kevin Hilliard, Gil Sharone, James Love, Jessica Curreri, Steve Evetts, Talmadge Cook, Ryan Downey, Jeff Geisser, Brian Montouri, Paul D'Elia, Chris Tropea, Asian Steve, Timothy Connors, Matt Rosenblum, Reid Ferris, Marc Schapiro, And all the other fearless soldiers who have graced the stage with us over the past 20 years.
This album blows Calculating Infinity out of the water on almost every front, and that is NOT easy to do. Greg not only filled the shoes Mike Patton and Dimitri had left, but he took the band's music to the next level by blending their two styles really well. honeycombguy
